In February 2026, the Town of Addison approved An Amended and Updated Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Addison: 2050. Throughout 2025, the Town worked on the update to their Comprehensive Plan.
What is a Comprehensive Plan?
A Comprehensive Plan is a long-term document that guides the future development of a county, city, village, or town. It outlines the community’s vision and goals for land use, infrastructure, and other aspects of physical and economic development. This can act as a roadmap for how the community may evolve over time. Per Wisconsin State Statutes, the comprehensive planning law (Chapter 66.1001) requires that adopted comprehensive plans must be reviewed and updated at least every 10 years.
If you would like information on the update, would like to provide comments, or have questions about the plan, please contact the Zoning Administrator at: zoning@addisonwi.gov or call (262)-629-5420 opt #3.
