E-CYCLING
The Town continues to work with Com2 and collect electronic waste as a service to the community.  Please call the Town Clerk to schedule an appointment to drop off unwanted electronics.  A collection bin will be located by the Town Hall garage area for easy access. 


It is necessary to call and make an appointment so the bin is available.

Public Information:

The Town of Addison will continue offering curbside Recycling Service to residential properties (4 family units or less units) in the Town of Addison.  Harter's Lakeside Disposal is the service provider and can be contacted directly if there are problems with the recycling cart or missed pick-ups.  Their numbers are:  920 552-5412 or 833 754-2158.

Please see the attached Map, Letter and 2023 / 2024 Calendar from Harter's.  Harter's will not be providing a new paper schedule for 2024.  Please see the attached document and print it off for your personal use.  If you need a copy they will be available at the Town Hall office, 127 First St. in Allenton.

Your continued participation in the Recycling Program helps the Town of Addison keep collected recycling weights up, so we qualify for the Recycling Grant from the Wisconsin DNR.

LEAF AND BRUSH DROP OFF
Brush and scrap iron is collected at the Town of Addison collection site four times per year. 
The upcoming dates for 2024: January 6,  April 6, July 13, & October 5.  
Hours continue to be Saturdays from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.

Town residents may bring tree brush, leaves, scrap iron, or old metal appliances to 600 Main St., Allenton.

NO TIRES, REFRIGERATORS, FREEZERS, MICROWAVES, TV'S, AIR CONDITIONERS, OR LP TANKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Single Stream Collection

*DO NOT USE PLASTIC BAGS IN THE CARTS!

ALL ITEMS ARE TO BE RINSED CLEAN.

Acceptable items for single stream recycling include:

  • Cardboard-cut into 2’x3’ pieces, bundled or tied.
  • Paper
  • Newspaper
  • Food Boxes
  • Mail
  • Beverage Cans
  • Food Cans
  • Jugs
  • Jars (glass and plastic)
  • Plastic bottles #1 thru #7
  • Glass bottles

Items that CANNOT be recycling single stream include:

  • Plastic grocery bags
  • Polystyrene (styrofoam)
  • Shredded paper
  • Diapers
  • Paper cups and food containers with a plastic coating
  • Wet paper
  • Aerosol cans
  • Boxes and containers with food waste and residue
  • Household glass
  • Ceramics and pottery
  • Hypodermic needles
  • Automotive parts & scrap metals
  • Yard Waste
  • Paint, pesticides, automotive fluids, diesel fuel, gasoline, kerosene & car batteries

Recycling pick-up is on an A/B week schedule every Tuesday. 

Have recycling at the curb by 6:00 a.m.
