Election Day – Don’t forget your ID!

Election Day is Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you want to Absentee Vote before Election Day, you can request an absentee ballot at MyVote.wi.gov. Please return your Absentee Ballot to the Town office as soon as possible. Absentee Ballots can be returned by mail. Absentee Voting in person in the Clerk’s office begins on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Last day to Absentee Vote in person will be 3/31/2022. The office is closed 4/1/2022 and no voting is allowed the day before the election.

Annual Town Meeting

The 2022 Annual Town Meeting is Tuesday, April 19, 2022, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Addison Town Hall, 127 First Street, Allenton.

This meeting provides a review of the 2021 in the Town of Addison, including the Financial Report, and anything else the Town Electors would like to discuss with the Town Board.

The April 5 Spring Election is occurring as scheduled. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on April 5, 2022.

Absentee ballots for the April 5, 2022 election can be requested in writing or on-line. Visit the MyVote website to request your Absentee Ballot. Last day to request a ballot by mail is 3/31/2022. In person Absentee voting begins 4/22/22 at the Town Hall located at 127 First St. Allenton, WI 53002. Hours for In-person absentee voting are posted. Mon. – Thurs 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Fridays by appointment.

Open Book – May 9, 2022

Open Book will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., via phone, email or internet video conferencing (Zoom application). Instructional material about assessments, how to file an objection and Board of Review procedures will be available at https://www.apraz.com/2022-assessment-roll. The Board of Review will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Addison Town Hall, 127 First Street, Allenton, WI

Hazardous Waste Disposal

Washington County residents may dispose of their hazardous waste materials year round (on Mondays) at the Veolia Port Washington Facility (1275 Mineral Springs Drive). New fees (effective 1/1/21) will be charged for all items on a per pound basis. Call the Ozaukee County Household Hazardous Waste Hotline (262) 243-8998 for more information. Collections are held each Monday from 8am – 5pm.

Allenton Sanitary District Customers

Allenton Sanitary District customers will have interruptions in water service on Tuesday, September 15th and Wednesday, September 16th from about 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Crews will be repairs some leaking valves.
